Shape & Size

The Incott 039 is a large, symmetrical mouse measuring 126.9 x 66.6 x 39.9 mm. It has a moderate outward curvature similar to mice like the Razer Viper Mini and popular shapes like the Finalmouse ULX. Similar to the ULX, the Incott 039 also has a centered hump. The mouse also has an inward curvature. All these features make certain parts of the mouse feel very similar to those of the Finalmouse ULX and WLmouse Beast X. The main difference is that the Incott 039 is more rounded and has slightly less aggressive curvature, yet still remains in the same category.

Because of the large size of the Incott 039, I would recommend it mainly for palm and claw-grip. As someone with large hands, I can fingertip grip the mouse if I want, but I much prefer using a smaller one for that, such as the Incott 029, which is a medium-sized mouse with the same shape and specs as the 039.

Coating & Grip-tape

The Incott 039 has a very grippy coating. While not exactly the same, it feels close to the coatings used on what I would consider the best coated mice, that being those used on the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro and Endgame Gear’s mice. It remains consistently grippy even under changes in temperature and humidity, which not all mice do.

The mouse also comes with an included set of grip tapes for the main buttons, sides, side-buttons, and back, making it so that you can cover pretty much all contact points of the mouse with additional grip if needed.

Build Quality

The Incott 039 has a very impressive build quality. Neither the sides nor the top flex when applying pressure to the shell. Only the bottom has some flex, but this is only when large amounts of pressure are applied directly on it, something that never occurred during regular usage. The mouse also does not rattle when shaking it.

Weight

The weight of the Incott 039 sits at 48 grams. Compared to a lot of other large-sized mice, this sits comfortably below the majority, but is still beaten by mice like the PMM ZEN 8K, G-Wolves HTM Plus 8K, Finalmouse ULX Classic, and WLmouse Beast X Max. That said, all these mice make sacrifices in the shell by having cutouts, something the Incott 039 does not have, as it uses a completely solid shell.

Buttons & Scroll Wheel

The Incott 039 comes in three variants: the 039 SC, the 039, and the 039 Pro. The 039 SC uses Huano Blue Shell White Dot mechanical switches rated for 20M clicks for the main buttons. Both the 039 (which I am using) and 039 Pro use the Incott x Huano Purple mechanical switches rated for 20M clicks. The clicks are great. They are very tactile and easy to spam-click. The buttons require a medium amount of force to actuate and have pretty much no pre- or post-travel. The buttons also do not wobble from side to side.

Similar to the main buttons, the side-buttons are also very tactile, easy to spam-click, and require a medium amount of force. They have a slight amount of both pre- and post-travel.

In terms of the scroll wheel, the 039 SC uses an unspecified TTC encoder, while the 039 and 039 Pro both use the TTC Gold encoder. As with most mice using this encoder, the tactility of the scroll is moderate and requires little force to use.

Sensor & Performance

Both the Incott 039 SC and 039 use the PixArt PAW3395 sensor and can go up to a polling rate of 1000 Hz, while the 039 Pro uses the newer PixArt PAW3950 and can go to 8000 Hz polling rate. I am using the 039 with the PAW3395, and the mouse performs flawlessly in my experience.

Conclusion

The Incott 039 is priced at $59.99, while the Pro version costs $10 more at $69.99. Both options are very affordable and quite below the price of more popular brands like Logitech, Razer, Pulsar, and similarly sized brands. Yet, the mouse offers similar specs with a comfortable shape and a weight lower than a lot of mice, especially compared to others with a similar size. Even still, the mouse has a completely solid shell and great build quality. The buttons are tight and tactile, and the scroll wheel is on par with others that also utilize the TTC Gold encoder. If you are looking for a large-sized mouse with this type of shape, the Incott 039 lineup is a great choice. If you want something a little smaller, looking at the Incott 029 instead is a good option.
